After 2020, hybrid and online events have firmly taken their place in the event business industry. Professional retraining of event organization specialists is required.
You will study the organization of events by format and type in offline, online and hybrid event formats, gain project work skills and tools with which solve all practical tasks from developing an event concept and budgeting to strategic business decisions and obtaining maximum efficiency results.
You will become familiar with the basic principles of creating events of such formats as: corporate event, business event, exhibition project, press event, marketing event, MICE event. Get an idea of each format from goals and objectives, then the technical capabilities of the latest achievements, find out trends in each area, you can strengthen your budgeting skills, get examples of real documents necessary for the implementation of activities and you will be able to apply all this already during the course practice.
During the training process, which takes place in the format of design workshops, you will gain skills in developing event projects. In each lesson you will solve real case-studies, and at the end of the training you will have 5 events that you can place in your portfolio. Among other things, you will develop public speaking skills by defending your projects and learn the secrets of creating a successful Power Point presentation.
The course is designed for specialists whose responsibilities include organizing a wide variety of events for the company (advertising managers, event managers, HR and internal communications managers, office managers), and agency employees who organize events commissioned by companies and manage contractors.

Develop event concepts, generate ideas, conduct brainstorming.
Present concepts, prepare proposals, create project visualization (invitations, teasers, banners, decorations, gifts).
Organize and plan the work of the project team, model events, anticipate logistics through basic project documents.
Analyze and select contractors.
Plan event projects, budget.
Write event scripts, event timings and develop project logistics.
Create entertainment programs for the event (selection of artists, presenters, promoters).
Create post-project reporting, summarize the results and effectiveness of the event.
Module 1. Corporate events. Online and offline events as a tool for HR: using real project cases as an example (3 ac. h.)
Training events using the example of a real platform that allows you to implement the company’s corporate policy.
Work plan for organizing a corporate event.
Online teambuilding and offline team building programs. Examples of implemented cases on team building programs. Differences in organization.
Specifics of organizing a Gala dinner at corporate events.
Work with briefs and technical specifications (technical specifications) for video production of reporting videos and other corporate films.
Budgeting. The principle of creating an estimate for a corporate event.
Efficiency. An example of an event evaluation system by its participants and the customer. Working with attendance at corporate events by involving employees in the process of organizing the event and other approaches.
Practice: the teacher divides the participants into project teams and gives a brief for the development of a corporate event in offline and online formats. Participants solve problems and present the resulting event to the audience.
Module 2. Business events. Business events: offline and online project cases (3 ac. h.)
The main customers of online business formats of events.
Work plan for organizing a business event.
Features of conducting webinars: work plan, venues, platforms.
Online conferences: pros and cons, trends, case examples.
Budgeting.
Integration of online tools into business event formats.
Efficiency. ROI. Event psychology as a tool for efficiency in organizing an event.
Practice: the teacher divides the participants into project teams. Each team prepares a brief for the “client” to develop an online business event. Participants complete this task in the “Home” mode and receive an analysis of the finished activities from the teacher.
Module 3. Marketing events. Online events as a tool for the Marketing Department (2 ac. h.)
Identica and key visual as the main tool for marketing activities.
Event promotion: event website, landing page, targeting, email marketing.
Sponsorship events and sponsorship.
Principles for constructing scenarios for marketing events. Examples on flights of projects in offline and online formats.
Specifics of organizing events for network marketing, automobile brands, beauty industry and other business sectors.
Practice: The teacher divides the participants into project teams and gives a brief for the development of a marketing event. Participants solve problems and present the resulting event to the audience.
Module 4. Exhibition projects (2 ac. h.)
Goals and effectiveness of participation in exhibitions.
Exhibition formats.
The main stages of preparation for participation in the exhibition in offline and online formats.
Varieties of stand construction with examples from implemented events.
Production/merchandising within the framework of an exhibition event.
Exhibitions online. Platforms and resources for creating virtual exhibition stands.
Budgeting. The main cost items when organizing the construction of an exhibition stand.
Practice: the teacher divides the participants into project teams and gives a brief for the development of an exhibition stand and the implementation of additional activities for participation in the exhibition. Participants solve problems and present their results to the audience.
Module 5. Events for the press (2 ac. h.)
Events online/offline formats.
Technical and content support for press events.
Rules for working with the media. Contents of the press kit.
Drawing up a plan for organizing an event using the example of one of the press tours.
Stages of implementation of the “Press Conference” project.
Practice: participants will have to calculate the budget for a press event.
Module 6. MICE events (4 ac. h.)
What applies to MICE events? What services are included in the MICE sector?
Who is interested in MICE events and why, who is the main customer.
Goals and objectives of MICE events.
2 key terms: creativity and logistics. Components of the event: creativity, venue, logistics, team, technical support, details.
How many people are doing the event? Combining and separating the functionality of different specialists in MICE.
Event formats, their purpose, combination and compatibility depending on the target audience (external or internal).
Route calculation, choice of transport. Examples of complex cases and solutions to force majeure.
Regional and national characteristics when working with suppliers and customers (for example, Greece, France, Belgium, USA. China).
What does the price of an airplane consist of? Ticket booking classes. Restrictions. Charters and regular flights.
Trains, water transport.
Transfers: when they are needed, how to calculate the time. What does the transfer price consist of?
Work with the group before the trip, on the road, upon arrival.
Typology of hotels (business hotels, city hotels, beach hotels, ski hotels, family hotels, boutique hotels); stars, ratings. Types of rooms. Organization of registration at the hotel and check-in to rooms. Early check-in and late check-out. Working with a group in a hotel (administration).
Business part of off-site events: assessment of the hotel’s conference capabilities. Hall rating. Holding a business event outside the hotel - selection and evaluation of an alternative site depending on the format of the event (seminar, exhibition, press conference, presentation, team building)
Catering: organization of main meals, coffee breaks. Dinner at the hotel or catering? Choosing a site for catering.
Entertainment part: organizing an excursion program. What does the excursion cost consist of? Formats and types of excursions. Types of team building. Ceremonial events - organization of gala dinner.
Budgeting. Main expense items.
Project management: distribution of areas of responsibility: organizer, intermediary, host, hotel, event participant. Stage-by-stage project planning.
Efficiency mark.
