With the public beta OS X Yosemite virtually anyone could install a new operating system from Apple on your computer. However, the beta version of the fact and "beta", that it can meet different kinds of errors and omissions. By default, the application is in the Dock, and looks like the character of the message with an exclamation mark on a purple background. If the icon is still missing, you can find the application via Spotlight, typing the name "Feedback Assistant" or "feedback Assistant".
So, if you decide to send information to Apple about some problem, you need to make a few simple steps:
- Start Assistant of Dock menu or Spotlight and accept the license agreement.
In the window that appears, you will need to enter your Apple ID and password.
After login, you will be available Window Assistant, which is a bit like an email client: in the left column you can see the requests you sent, drafts, and incoming messages from Apple.
To create a new request, click on the "New review" or select it via the File menu - "New Review".
You will be prompted to specify what kind of failure in question, to which part of the system it applies, as well as some additional questions, depending on the error that you want to specify. Fill in all the fields and press the "Continue" button.
The new window will be prompted to attach screenshots (or other files) that demonstrate an error. Together with them, it will be automatically attached report file that will be generated automatically by the system.
In the next window you will see your report, as it will be sent to Apple. And if you are satisfied, click on the "Send" button.
That's all. You have sent a report and now can track it and other bugs you and shortcomings.
