3D models of sights in Moscow and St. Petersburg appeared in Yandex Maps

Three-dimensional color models of the sights of Moscow and St. Petersburg appeared on Yandex maps. Three-dimensional images of buildings and monuments will allow you to get acquainted with interesting places even at the stage of forming the route.

In Moscow you can see about two dozen attractions. For example, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin Museum, GES-2, St. Basil's Cathedral, the Bolshoi Theater, the Ostankino Tower, the main building of Moscow State University.

Among the 3D models in St. Petersburg are the Hermitage, the Museum of History and the Peter and Paul Fortress, Alexander and two Rostral columns, the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, St. Isaac's and Kazan Cathedrals, a cruiser "Aurora".

All objects try to reflect key features of architecture and color. And around them three-dimensional trees are displayed, the size and location of which correspond to reality. For maximum realism, when switching to the night theme, buildings appear illuminated.

To see a three-dimensional model in the application, just find an object on the map and zoom in on it. And to view it not from above, but from the side, you need to slide two fingers up the screen or click on the plane change icon on the right (2D/3D in the browser).
