Google may add a Discover feed and other widgets to the main search page

Google is experimenting with the Discover news feed and other information widgets on the home page of its search engine.

Portal MSPowerUser published a screenshot in which sections with news, weather, sports match results and promotions appeared next to the usual search bar. How notes The Verge, a similar panel has been displayed on some mobile devices in the US since 2018. Now we are talking about the desktop version of the resource.

The company has conducted similar experiments in the past. 9to5Google will also publish in 2022 noticed a series of additional cards that made her site look very similar to the home page of Microsoft's Edge browser.
