🔥 “Spray of Science” is a new Lifehacker podcast, where we, together with scientists, dispel myths and present facts
Miscellaneous / / October 02, 2023
In the first issue we talk about the ISS: how astronauts eat, wash and sleep and what will happen to the station in the future.
Scientific facts often go hand in hand with misconceptions. To separate one from the other and understand difficult topics, Lifehacker came up with the Science Pulverizer podcast. Its presenter Daria Kostyuchkova, together with scientists, destroys pseudo-scientific myths and confirms facts that are difficult to believe. About the ancient world and the life of people in the past, about dinosaurs, space, health and art.
The first issue of Science Spray is dedicated to misconceptions about the ISS. In it, we find out what activities the station crew does, how the life of the astronauts is organized, and why humanity needs such an expensive and complex project in general.
Alexander Khokhlov, a popularizer of astronautics and the head of the small spacecraft project at Geoscan, talks about this. He has been working in the space industry for more than 20 years and even participated in several selections for the cosmonaut corps.
Subscribe to the Science Pulverizer podcast and listen to it wherever it is convenient for you: Apple Podcasts, YouTube, «Yandex Music», «In contact with», «Sound», Castbox And SoundStream.
We made this release with the participation of the YouTube project ScienceVideoLab. On the channel you will find video lectures about science and related misconceptions.
You can read the text version of the issue in the article on Lifehacker.
