How to clean the keyboard MacBook Spill
Tips Do It Yourself / / December 19, 2019
So, I spilled coffee on the MacBook Pro keyboard. It happens to everyone. I think that almost all faced the same problem and was poured as drinks on a computer keyboard. And if the standard PC keyboard easily disassembled even a child (especially a child) and then erased without problems in the bag, then the keyboard MacBook Pro (unibody) are having some problems. If I flooded her completely, then the output is obvious (and it is in this case only) - to carry the laptop to the service. But I poured a space and a few keys around. Now he sticks through time and this creates certain problems in the operation.
Lugging the laptop to the service of this kind of weather through the city due to a single space do not really want it, so I decided to approach the problem globally - to look for answers in the network. It turned out, this is no big deal, and I'm even able to cope with this problem.
To remove the key, you'll need a small screwdriver.
Removing the individual keys on the keyboard MacBook Pro, Macbook and MacBook Air:
- On the left side, insert the screwdriver underneath the lateral edge of the keys you want to remove.
- Remove the key and pressing the screwdriver as a lever. Together with the key you pull out even a special mechanism.
- Gently pry off this mechanism with a screwdriver and unhook it from the keys.
- Clean the mechanism, key and mounting location of the dirt and gently return everything in place - first gear, then the key itself. The mounting location, you will see three hooks. To return mechanism back to its first hook for the main hook on the right side, and insert the pins into small plastic side hooks (top and bottom). You will cope with the task, if the first hook of the lower side of the hook. Now you just have to return the key place.
- In contrast to the MacBook Pro MacBook Air does not have three or four hooks. To return the mechanism in place, hook it over the top at first, and then simply push the top.
With the space situation is a little different, since there is not one, but two mechanisms, and in addition to this are special metal fasteners.
If you are going to clean all of the keys, do not remove them all at once, otherwise then have to search for a photo of the keyboard to put the keys in the correct sequence.
