Like an e-reader, only very large.
Startup Bigme released All-in-one Bigme B251 with E-Ink color screen. Such monitors are also called paper monitors, since they are perceived as a sheet with an ink image, due to which they place minimal strain on the eyes.
The new product is a 25.3-inch display with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 60 Hz. It can be used to broadcast pictures from other devices - it supports Miracast, Airplay, DLNA, Chromecast, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. For convenience, the panel can be rotated to portrait orientation.
The heart of the Bigme B251 is the 12th generation Intel Core i5 processor. It is complemented by 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB storage. It has the Windows 11 operating system installed.
One of the main features was support for voice commands. This way you can turn it on or off, as well as adjust the brightness and sound. The latter is driven by stereo speakers installed in the case. There are also HDMI, DisplayPort, Mini HDMI, Type-C and USB-A on board.
Monoblock Bigme B251 is already available for pre-order on Kickstarter, where it was valued at $1,900 (≈184,000 rubles). Deliveries will begin in December 2023.
