Not only on iPhone 15 Pro.
At the presentation iPhone 15 Apple announced that Pro versions of smartphones will support a number of popular console games, including Death Stranding. Earlier during the announcement macOS Sonoma game designer Hideo Kojima announced that the director's cut of the game will be available on Mac for the first time. Now in a post on the social network Threads Kojima revealed a complete list of Apple devices on which you can play the game.
It seems that compatibility is related to the processors of the gadgets. Declared support for A17 Pro (iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max), as well as M1 and M2 of all modifications. And yes, we are talking about both Mac and iPad with Apple Silicon. In theory, this means that if an Apple TV comes out with a more powerful processor, it will also be possible to play AAA games, even if the list of them is limited for now.
Let us remind you that in addition to Death Stranding, Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake and Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on Apple devices. When exactly the release will happen is still unknown.
