Keanu Reeves begged to finally kill John Wick in the fourth film

Ending "John Wick - 4" could indicate the end of the series - at least starring Keanu Reeves. It turned out that this was the desire of Reeves himself, exhausted from filming and training. About it writes Collider, citing franchise producer Basil Iwanyk.
Iwanyk admitted that Reeves requested that his character die at the end of the fourth film so that he could finally take a break from the role. But this is the film industry, and John Wick has become a legend, so they could only agree on 90% certainty of the character's death.
Working on these films was exhausting, it destroyed Keanu - both mentally and physically. In the end he said that he couldn’t do this anymore, and we agreed with him. This guy became a shell of himself because he gave it his all every time. He said, “I want to be completely killed at the end of this movie.” We replied that we would leave a small loophole, just in case.
