The meme heroes are finally doing something useful.

British laboratory GABA Labs works over synthetic alcohol called Alcarelle. It provides a relaxing effect, but does not cause hangover and other side effects.

The new product has no taste - it can be added to other drinks without fear of spoiling, and thus increase their intoxicating effect.

Our Alcarelle is as relaxing as traditional alcohol. It also makes a person more sociable, soft and cheerful.

In addition, synthetic alcohol does not harm the liver, heart, brain and other human organs. This could potentially save millions of lives, the developers note. However, they do not disclose the composition of their invention, so for now we can only take their word for it.

The product has been in development for quite some time and is now almost ready. It may go on sale in 2026 after all the necessary regulatory checks (if approved, of course).
