The Qept note-taking app has been released on iOS. It works like a chat with yourself
Miscellaneous / / September 04, 2023
A good alternative for those who are used to throwing everything important into the “Favorites” of Telegram.
App Store appeared new application Qept from the Dutch developer William de Beer. This is a simple notepad that offers you to send important thoughts, reminders and tasks to chats by category.
Everything works in much the same way as messages to yourself in instant messengers and social networks: write the text, click "Send", and it appears in the correspondence. But there is also a useful difference: the user can create sections (up to three in the free version) and send notes to them, just like to Telegram channels. The Home section will display all notes in the order in which they were created.
Editing options are minimal here: you can only choose between plain text and a checklist. Already existing notes can be edited, moved to other sections and archived.
The application is not suitable for Notion fans and those who are looking for an application with the ability to customize everything. It is rather a more convenient tool for those who often send notes in correspondence with themselves on Telegram, WhatsApp or social networks. Qept is free to use as long as you don't use more than three sections: those who need more will have to pay $8 per month.
