Like Disneyland, only based on cult horror. A true paradise for fans of the author.
One of the Reddit users decided to imagine what Stephen King's amusement park could look like. With the help of the Midjourney neural network, he depicted several carousels, labyrinths, animators and more - all with references to the author's works.
1. The entrance to the park turned out to be more than eloquent. He literally says that this is a place for adults, not for impressionable children.
2. In these controlled cars, Reddit users saw a reference to the novel "Christina", which describes the story of a kind of "love triangle" involving a car.
3. Labyrinth from The Shining.
4. The cat from Pet Cemetery. Surely he should suddenly move and scare the visitors.
5. Bloody attraction based on "Carrie" - the writer's first novel in the genre of mystical horror.
6. It's probably something to do with "Kujo".
7. Not a monorail, but very reminiscent of the Blaine Mono train with an artificial intelligence system from the Dark Tower series.
8. The main castle of the park. Pretty colorful, but certainly fraught with many surprises.
9. The Shining twins wearing Pennywise makeup from It.
10. A shop based on the novel Necessary Things.
11. Well, the main animator of the park, who will give everyone his smile.
Reddit users were delighted with the idea of such a park. He even came up with a suitable ambiguous name - Joyland or "Country of Joy". Another option is Derryland. And the slogan can be the phrase: "It's easy to enter, but you may never return ...".
And how do you like this idea? Write in the comments.
