Apple is considering releasing an Apple Watch with a self-adjusting screen that can adjust to the color of the wearer's strap and clothing.

In the company's new patent are described a smartwatch with a light sensor below the display that uses the camera and other sensors in the device to detect the color of external objects.

It works like this: it first emits red, green and blue light to nearby objects and captures the reflected RGB levels. Then it compares the received data with a previously saved list of existing bracelets and the color range available in its database. And then selects the appropriate dial.
