"He breaks the patterns of film comics": what critics write about DC's "Blue Beetle"

Rotten Tomatoes began publishing critical reviews of Blue Beetle just before its international release on August 18. This is a DC superhero movie about teenager Jaime Reyes, who accidentally receives an alien technology suit that gives him superpowers.

The film, featuring the first Hispanic superhero in the DC Universe, was warmly received. At the time of this article's publication, the film has an 82% rating based on 87 reviews from critics. That's what they are write.

It looks like the film turned out to be something like a Mexican family comedy, in which they added superhero costumes - but only to show that alien armor gives less power than support of loved ones.
