Clean page, search and menu - nothing more.
YouTube developers on the service support page announced about disabling the recommendation feed of the video for those users who do not save their viewing history.
Starting August 8, YouTube's home screen, where a set of videos is usually shown according to user preferences, will be completely empty - only the search bar and the menu on the left will remain.
YouTube explained that in this way the service will become more convenient for those who prefer only to search for the desired videos, and not to view the recommended ones.
These changes are being implemented rather slowly, the developers noted. They will be rolled out to all users over the next few months.
How to disable browsing history on YouTube on PC: open the side menu on the left, go to the "History" section and there on the right click on the "Do not save browsing history" button.
