Photos of the iPhone 15 Pro case confirmed the replacement of the sound switch with a new button

In a series of rumors about the new iPhone 15 now and then pop up mentions some new Action button that should replace the sound switch. Now, one of the insiders has confirmed its appearance with photos of a cover for the flagship smartphone model. About it writes 9to5Mac.

The pictures do not have the usual cutout for the switch on the end of the case - instead of it there is a third button. According to rumors, this will be a custom control that will allow you to accept or reject calls, turn on Do Not Disturb, activate the flashlight, launch the camera, take screenshots, or even “shazam” songs. All this, probably, can be configured for running applications and work scenarios.

Twitter source named the new flagship iPhone 15 Ultra, which confirms other rumors. However, not all insiders agree with them - many are sure that this naming for the top Apple model will be saved until next year.

Whatever the device is called, it is likely that the new Action button will be another difference between a pair of flagship smartphones with a triple camera and a pair of basic solutions - the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
