The presentation of the OnePlus Open smartphone was expected on July 29, but the company has postponed the release of the smartphone due to the transition to panels from Samsung (instead of BOE). This also led to a change in the appearance of the folding flagship. And now a famous OnLeaks insider shared high-quality images of the updated design.

According to him, these are photos of the OnePlus Open pre-production sample, which should go into production. And they show a markedly changed design compared to what it is showed previously.

So, the phone now has a different body shape, the manufacturer has made all the edges flat. You can also notice a significant increase in the camera module. There is also a leather-style back cover and a branded switch to silent mode.

As expected, the smartphone will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, from 16 GB of RAM, a 256 GB, a 4,800 mAh battery with support for 67-watt charging, as well as three cameras - two at 48 MP and one at 64 Mp.

The exact date of the OnePlus Open presentation has not yet been announced, but the company is expected to hold it before the end of September.
