The UN announced the transition from global warming to the "epoch of global boiling"
Miscellaneous / / July 29, 2023
July 2023 became hottest months on record. This was stated by UN Secretary General António Guterres. And he warned that this is only the beginning of the "boil".
Previously, the average July temperature was around 16 degrees Celsius. But this year it has risen to 17 degrees. Climatologists say that before this, such a heat on Earth could only be 120,000 years ago.
However, the UN World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has yet to announce the new record directly, pending full month data. However, António Guterres considers it superfluous. “We don’t have to wait until the end of July to find out,” the secretary general said.
“Climate change is evident. It's horrible. And this is just the beginning. The era of global warming is over, the era of global boiling has come - it is impossible to breathe air, the heat is unbearable.
