Footage of Sony's PS5 portable console leaked online - it runs on Android
Miscellaneous / / July 24, 2023
In theory, it will be possible to use the gadget for mobile games, that is, without the PlayStation 5.
At the end of May Sony announced handheld console codenamed Project Q. This device is similar to the DualSense controller, complete with a larger screen. The company has not yet talked about the interface of the novelty, but judging by the latest leak, the gadget is based on Android.

This was confirmed by the leaked frames with a console where you can see familiar navigation and view the device itself.
The gadget really resembles a DualSense with a built-in display - it is touch-sensitive, 6-inch, with a resolution of 1080p. All controls are the same as on the Sony gamepad.
At the same time, Project Q cannot be called a full-fledged competitor to Steam Deck or Asus ROG Ally, since the novelty only works through Remote Play via Wi-Fi, using the power of the PS5. However, the presence of Android can make it a much more interesting gaming solution that you can take with you, for example, on trips to play mobile titles.
