Announced the relaunch of Neopets - a site with virtual pets

The creators of the iconic site Neopets, where you can create and care for virtual pets, announced restart your resource. Until the end of this year, it will be supported by all popular browsers.

The first web service was launched in 1999. At its peak, in the mid-2000s, it had 25 million active users. However, its popularity gradually declined and by the end of the last decade, the audience fell to 100,000 people. First of all, because of the outdated Flash technology, which is not supported by most modern browsers and devices. But this problem was finally solved, the developers said.

"New Era" Neopets will include HTML5 technology instead of Flash, redesigned design, improved interface, additional themes, more flexible pet customization, new activity rewards, 50 classic games, and much more.

Already on July 20, the developers will present an updated home page, and in another five days they will open access to the beta version of the redesigned site. A full launch is expected before the end of this year.

In the future, they plan to add new pets, expand the game catalog and implement other entertainment options.
