A new trailer for The Master and Margarita, formerly called Woland, has been released

Cinema Atmosphere released a new trailer for The Master and Margarita and announced the release date for the film on January 25, 2024.

The film, formerly called Woland, is based on the novel of the same name by Mikhail Bulgakov. He transfers to Moscow in the 1930s. A well-known writer on the rise of his career finds himself at the center of a literary scandal. The performance based on his play is removed from the repertoire, and in a matter of days he himself turns into an outcast. After meeting Margarita, who becomes his lover and muse, he takes on a new novel, where the characters are people from his environment. The main character of his work is the mysterious Woland. Gradually, the writer begins to notice how fiction and reality are intertwined into a single whole.

The director of the picture is Mikhail Lokshin, who directed Silver Skates. The master was played by Yevgeny Tsyganov, Margarita by Yulia Snigir, and the role of Woland was played by the German August Diehl, known for the films Inglourious Basterds and The Secret Life.
