Yandex added the YandexGPT neural network to the browser - it will briefly retell articles

In "Yandex Browser" with the next update, a neural network retelling of articles appeared. To launch it, you need to click on the "Retell briefly" button, and YandexGPT (YaLM 2.0) will summarize the main ideas of the material in the form of abstracts that can be read in 30-60 seconds.

Abstracts of the article are displayed directly in the browser interface on top of the open page, and a link to them can be sent to other friends and colleagues.

For this function to work, the developers additionally trained the YandexGPT neural network using a special data set, which includes tens of thousands of pairs of large texts and their abbreviated versions.

Function of thesis retelling for the first time appeared June 27 on the 300.ya.ru platform. The developers plan to teach YandexGPT to summarize texts longer than 30 thousand characters in the form of abstracts and work with documents in PDF and DOCX format.
