Samsung is preparing smart glasses and a smart ring

Samsung has registered three trademarks that may refer to the company's new wearables. Appropriate applications appeared in the register of the UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO).

We are talking about the brands Samsung Circle, Samsung Index and Samsung Insight. They all share the same classification, Nice Classification 9, which covers wearable computers, smart rings and watches, smart glasses, and smartphones.

SamMobile Edition suggeststhat the Samsung Circle brand could refer to smart rings, and Samsung Index and Samsung Insight could refer to mixed reality devices and controllers for them.

However, these are just assumptions, since the applications themselves still do not say anything, and these gadgets may not even exist in nature. It is also possible that the tech giant simply protected the names to prevent other companies from using them.

However, back in February 2023, Samsung, together with Qualcomm announced development of a mixed reality headset. The company also previously registered the Galaxy Glasses and Galaxy Ring brands.
