YouTube introduces restrictions for users of ad blockers

First a warning, and after three videos - blocking the player.
YouTube continues the war with adblock services. In May users started complaining on banners warning about the impossibility of using ad blockers while watching YouTube, but no punishment for such warnings followed. Now everything has changed: some users began to receive new warning.
If an ad blocker is enabled, YouTube informs that after three videos played, it will block the player. To continue watching, you will have to turn off the blocker or buy a YouTube Premium subscription.
In the comments on the screenshot of the warning on Reddit, users complain not so much about the adblock policy, but about YouTube's advertising mechanics.
“Advertising, of course, will not go anywhere, but they could work it out better. An ad or two at the beginning of the video and one at the end is absolutely fine. Even one or two in the middle is appropriate (if the video is longer than 30 minutes). But when you get 3-6 commercials in videos that are less than 20 minutes long, it’s just ridiculous.”

“I'm not going to let them monetize other people's work without paying the authors. Until YouTube allows all creators to monetize their videos, or disables ads for videos that aren't monetized by the creator, I will continue to use AdBlock."

So far, the new warning is displayed only to a small group of users in test mode. It's unclear when these site changes will apply to everyone.
