Anker launches power bank with retractable Lightning connector

The new Anker 621 Power Bank has been released in the US and UK. This is a compact 5000 mAh model with a built-in Lightning connector for charging iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It can be pushed inside the case so as not to be damaged when carried.

The device supports fast charging up to 12W and is Made for iPhone (MFi) certified. The manufacturer notes that a fully charged power bank will add another 20 hours of battery life to the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

To charge the power bank itself, there is a USB-C connector on the side, it can also be used for wired charging of gadgets without Lightning. There is no screen here: four LEDs are used to indicate the charge level.

Overheating protection is provided by ActiveShield technology, which continuously monitors temperature and reduces power to protect connected equipment when needed. To ensure stable operation, it is recommended to use the device within 0-35°C.

Due to the design features, such a power bank cannot be used with a case thicker than 4.9 mm. The gadget weighs only 98.5 grams.

Anker 621 Power Bank was valued at $32 (≈2,700 rubles). The novelty is already available for purchase in the US and UK, and should soon appear on AliExpress.
