Private Russian company SR Space will launch a rocket into space before the end of the year

SR Space together with T1 holding are planning the first among Russian private companies to launch a rocket into space. It is supposed to bring it to a height of more than 100 kilometers - beyond the upper boundary of the atmosphere. This should happen before the end of 2023.
We decided to abandon intermediate launches. Recently, we have had to accelerate and transform our business, so we are moving to commercial launches a year earlier than planned, due to the rapidly growing demand for the launch of space devices into space.
Oleg Mansurov
SR Space CEO
The plan is this: the rocket must reach its destination and send a signal to the ground, which will be received by the company's drones. Thus, the developers want to work out the interaction between the devices and test the remote control, as well as calculate the possibility of flying in a swarm offline.
In the future, SR Space wants to organize the delivery of small spacecraft or even groups of them into low Earth orbit.
In addition to Russian UAVs, it is also planned to use domestic software developed by T1. In the future, this will make it cheaper to manufacture new products in astronautics, the company noted.
Recall that last year about plans to launch a rocket also announced private Russian company Success Rockets. But she scheduled a start only for 2024.
