It literally fits in the palm of your hand, while being equipped with everything you need for everyday tasks.
Unihertz, known for miniature smartphones and budget clone Nothing Phone (1), is preparing to release a new model called Jelly Star. The device has not yet been officially presented, while the DeviceSpecification edition has already published complete review of the smartphone.
The Jelly Star is so tiny that it uses a 3-inch display - which was hard to find in 2020, let alone 2023. The novelty uses an IPS screen with a resolution of 854 × 480 pixels. The dimensions of the device are 95 × 50 × 19 mm, weight - 121 g.
Inside is a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. This is not a flagship solution, but should be enough for everyday tasks. There is also a 48MP camera with flash and a fingerprint scanner.
Responsible for autonomy is a battery with a capacity of 2,000 mAh. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on Android 13.
The cost of the device and the start date of sales have not yet been disclosed, but the creators promise that the Jelly Star page will appear on Kickstarter soon.
