If you shake your smartphone, a random page will pop up.
The Web Roulette app has been released on the iPhone. This is an atypical browser: it is not designed to search for new information through Google or Yandex, but to view already saved sites. Moreover, there is not even a search engine as such.
At the start, Web Roulette prompts you to select the sites that you visit regularly. It is recommended to select at least 10. The service offers a couple of dozens of popular resources (although all in English), you can also add any of your sites.
After that, you can open Web Roulette every time you want to flip through something without going into the jungle: you can switch only between selected sites (although no one forbids clicking on links from articles). Scrolling through the sites is offered by swiping to the left, you can go back by swiping to the right.
If you want to read something unexpected, just shake your smartphone: a random page from the Internet will open. For example, a Wikipedia article about inventors who were killed by their own inventions. True, this will not work often: the available “shakes” accumulate as you browse regular sites, so there is no risk of sticking to your watch, shaking your phone in search of something interesting.
The application is free and has no ads, it is available in the Russian App Store.
