The KNS-Group company, which produces servers under the Yadro brand, introduced its first KVADRA_T tablet. It runs on an unnamed ARM processor with 8 cores and a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. Over time, the manufacturer plans to move to the RISC-V architecture, which is based on open source code.
KVADRA_T received a 10.9-inch IPS screen with Full HD + resolution and Asahi Glass protective glass. It has 6GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Battery capacity - 9,000 mAh. The USB-C interface is used for power supply. 20W adapter included.
At the bottom of the case, POGO connectors are also provided for connecting a docking station and accessories. Among other characteristics of the device: 13 and 5 megapixel cameras, 3.5 mm audio port, stereo speakers, as well as support for GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.2 and 4G.
The tablet runs on the operating system KVADRA OS, which is a "deep processing" Android Open Source Project (AOSP). It integrates the Russian app store RuStore, but Google services will not be available, as the company seeks to create the Russian ecosystem without the use of services that are already under sanctions restrictions or could potentially fall under them.
KVADRA_T will be available in two colors. Pre-order starts today at company website. The declared cost is 39,900 rubles.
