Google Chrome has learned how to fix errors in links
Miscellaneous / / May 19, 2023
Google announced a number of new features of their services for people with disabilities. One of the innovations touched Chrome: the browser will now prompt the correct site address if the user has made a mistake.
This works as a search recommendation. If you enter the address incorrectly, a list of sites with similar names will appear in the search bar. It will also make it easier to go to a site that you visited earlier, but you don’t remember the exact name. The update will make the browser easier to use for people with dyslexia, as well as poor English proficiency and those who often type with errors.
The update is already being rolled out for desktop versions of Chrome, and will roll out to iOS and Android apps in the coming months.
Also, the Google DeepMind neural network will now allow visually impaired people to learn details about the content of illustrations and context, and places on Google Maps will receive a special badge if they are suitable for people with disabilities. wheelchairs.
