Google has released the second beta of Android 14, which includes including new privacy features. In particular, the system has learned to notify users when applications send their geolocation to third parties.
In the new data exchange section, it will be possible to obtain additional information about the transfer of such information and control access to it. In addition, if any program suddenly starts sharing the location, the smartphone will send a notification about it.
Google noted that the updated data sharing will work with applications from all marketplaces, and not just from the Play Store.
You can join the Android 14 test at page developers. However, OS compatible only with smartphones Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 6a (on Pixel 7a it is not available), as well as some models of OPPO, iQOO, Realme, Lenovo, Tecno, Nothing, Vivo and Xiaomi.
The third beta is due out in June. And the official launch is expected at the end of summer.
