The trailer of the restored "Oldboy" was released

A trailer for the restored and restored version of the Oldboy movie has appeared on YouTube. The 2003 film directed by Park Chang Wook (he later directed Snowpiercer) won the Grand Prix at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival and collected many awards in South Korea.

According to the plot of an ordinary businessman Oh Dae-soo, his daughter is kidnapped on her birthday and imprisoned in solitary confinement. Later, he learns from the news on TV that his wife is dead, and he is considered the prime suspect. And when, after 15 years, he has a chance to escape, the kidnappers unexpectedly release him themselves.

In 2013, an American remake of the film starring Josh Brolin was released, which flopped at the box office and received mostly negative reviews from critics.
