Google unveils Pixel 7a smartphone with 'best camera under $500'

As part of the Google I / O 2023 conference, the affordable Pixel 7a smartphone was introduced. This is a simplified version of the basic Pixel 7 and heir Pixel 6a. There were a lot of improvements in the new product.
Externally, the Pixel 7a is similar to the other two smartphones in the series. It has a recognizable design and a horizontal dual camera bar on the back. The case received moisture protection according to the IP67 standard (short-term immersion to a depth of up to 1 m).
The screen is 6.1-inch with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The panel has a built-in 13 MP selfie camera with face unlock support.
The main rear sensor is 64 MP. The sensor is 72% larger (compared to the Pixel 6a), and according to Google, the smartphone is unrivaled in mobile shooting among smartphones under $500. There is also a 13 MP wide-angle module.
The heart of the device is the Google Tensor G2 chip, just like the Pixel 7. It is complemented by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. There is support for Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC.
Battery - 4,300 mAh. In terms of autonomy, Google promises a full day of work. It supports 18W wired charging and also wireless.
The price of the device is $499 (≈38,000 rubles). You can order the device in the US from May 10th.
