This is a system based on Wear OS 4.
Ahead of Google I/O, Korean Samsung has revealed a firmware update for the One UI 5 Watch, which is due out with Wear OS 4 later this year. Samsung notes that the update focused on improvements in three areas: sleep tracking, physical activity, and security.
With the One UI 5 Watch update, the Galaxy watch should help users improve their night's sleep. To do this, we added a new Sleep Insights UI interface, which displays an analysis of the user's sleep. Statistics include information about the last sleep session (including data on snoring), blood oxygen levels, sleep phases and a score on a 100-point scale.
Also on the clock will be available system recommendations Sleep Coaching. She suggests goals to achieve in order to improve sleep, such as waking up at a certain time, avoiding naps, and staying active throughout the day. It already exists on Samsung smartphones, but now it takes hours to work with it.
To increase the effectiveness of running training, we added the Heart Rate Zone metric. In fact, these are the levels of difficulty of training, ranging from the first zone (warming up) to the fifth (maximum load). All levels are customized to the capabilities of a particular user.
As for security, the updated SOS system can itself communicate with the rescue service and transmit user data: geolocation and health information. And for users over 55, fall detection will be enabled by default.
The One UI 5 Watch will be available for beta testing on the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5, and you can download your profile through the Samsung Members app. But the timing of beta testing and the release of stable firmware has not yet been disclosed.
It is noted that the update will receive all Samsung watches that run on Wear OS. These are the Galaxy Watch 4 and 4 Classic, as well as the Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro. Plus, of course, the unannounced Galaxy Watch 6.
