China plans to land humans on the moon by 2030 as part of its Chinese Lunar Exploration Program (CLEP). About it writes Universe Today.
The CLEP program consists of four stages. The first three were completed successfully, and a year ago the Chinese authorities allowed their scientists to start the fourth. It implies, among other things, sending people to the Earth's satellite.
By 2030, the Chinese will definitely be able to set foot on the moon. It's not a problem.

The first stage consisted of two missions to send spacecraft to the Moon. Chang'e-1 was launched in 2007. The second - "Chang'e-2" - in 2010. The second station also conducted a successful study of the asteroid 4179 Toutatis, but contact with it was lost in 2014.
The next phase included the delivery of lunar rovers. As a result, China became the third country after the USSR and the United States, which carried out a soft landing on the moon. And the first one that succeeded
do it's on the back of the satellite. The third stage included a flyby of the moon and delivery samples of lunar soil to Earth. At the end of 2020, the Chang'e-5 spacecraft successfully returned with 1,731 grams of lunar regolith on board.
The new phase implies deploymente International Lunar Station (ILRS) and establishing communication between the Earth and the satellite.
We are building a satellite system around the moon that will be able to provide communication, navigation and remote sensing services. After that, we will be able to conduct deep space research.
