First adaptation of the novel Stephen King instantly became a cult. For this reason, many fans were immediately suspicious of the remake. Luckily for them, the new film turned out to be worthy. The story has not been modernized in any way, so it turned out to be a good retelling of the classics.

At the same time, the new film corrects some of the problems of the original, released in 1985, and also shows how horror has changed over several decades.

But unlike the third part, released in 2022, it has almost no original ideas.
