Xiaomi introduced a smart floor polisher. It sterilizes the water before cleaning

Xiaomi continues the large-scale spring expansion of the Mijia home gadgets line. Another novelty is the Mijia Floor Scrubber 2, which has already been released in China.

The main feature of the device is that it sterilizes ordinary tap water using water electrolysis. According to the manufacturer, after cleaning, the surface will be safe and clean, so that even small children can play on it.

The motor operates at a speed of 86,500 rpm, and the pollution sensor, coupled with an AI algorithm, allows you to automatically adjust the suction power depending on the level of pollution.

The machine uses a roller brush that rotates at 520 rpm to powerfully clean both the floor and itself on the base. The brush has a double-sided edge that provides effective cleaning without adjusting the angle or direction. The device can penetrate under furniture and into corners thanks to the 180° washing function, moreover the manufacturer claims that the gadget helps to lift yourself from a horizontal position without much efforts.

A 4,000 mAh battery allows you to clean up to 320 m² without recharging. There are two water tanks: 800 ml for clean and 700 ml for dirty. The LED display shows the charge level and the selected settings, while the built-in speaker provides hints for more thorough cleaning.

Xiaomi Mijia Floor Scrubber 2 is already on sale in China, the price was 2499 yuan (≈29,600 rubles). The release of new items on the international market has not yet been reported.
