Xiaomi has released a reader with an E-Ink screen the size of a smartphone

Xiaomi has teamed up with Chinese office supplies maker Kinbor to release an updated version of the Inkpalm 5 Mini mini reader. It's called the Inkpalm Mini x Kinbor 2023 Edition and offers the same hardware as the regular Mini, but with added features and more features.
The box with the device includes a luggage tag, stickers with owls, a durable plastic holster that can be carried as a shoulder bag, and a notebook with a pen.
The device offers a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (density 284 ppi). This is an E-Ink Carta HD display with 24 shades of backlighting, allowing you to read in low light levels. The book weighs only 115 grams and is considered the smallest e-book in the world, like the Inkpalm 5 Mini.
The reader runs on Android 8.1 and supports the installation of third-party applications.
Responsible for performance is a 1.8 GHz quad-core processor, which is complemented by 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. USB‑C is used for data transfer and charging, and wireless connectivity options include Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
The capacity of the built-in battery is 1400 mAh. The side buttons can be used to adjust the volume or turn pages.
Xiaomi Inkpalm Mini x Kinbor 2023 Edition was priced at 899 yuan (≈10,600 rubles). Out of the box, it only works in Chinese, you will have to rely on unofficial launchers to support Russian or English.
