The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 finally has a temperature sensor

In Samsung smart watches Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which was released back in August last year, is finally earned temperature measurement sensor. Gadgets can now track the menstrual cycle using "infrared technology".
The function can be enabled in the updated version of Samsung Health. When activated, the application will automatically measure the basal body temperature immediately after the user wakes up and, based on the data obtained, determine the approach of the menstrual cycle.
The company notes that the option may be useless when taking birth control pills and during procedures that stop ovulation. In addition, the accuracy of forecasts directly depends on the regularity of wearing the gadget. For greater efficiency, it is recommended to sleep with a clock.
The sensor can also be used for general measurement temperature body. However, it is worth remembering that the data from the wrist is not comparable to the readings of medical thermometers.
The new feature will be rolled out gradually in South Korea, the US, the UK, and a number of European countries. Russia is not on the list yet.
