"Big Biological Lecture Hall" - free lectures for everyone who is interested in the future of our planet

The Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis hosts the "Big Biological Lecture Hall" - a series of in-person and online events with exciting lectures on modern biology and the life sciences. They will be useful for biologists, urbanists, ecologists and all those who are interested in the future of our planet.
Participants will have speeches by famous speakers and interesting conversations about the connection of a person with the outside world. The organizers identify several key themes and issues.
- Biothinking: why will it become the information base of society and how will this determine our vision of ourselves?
- What are the main social, moral and environmental issues that will be painted in "biological tones"?
- What is real biology? About the development of bioinformatics and discoveries in the field of embryology, physiology, ecology, paleontology and evolutionary biology.
- What are the new ways to study life on Earth? Lectures on deciphering the genomes of humans and many species of animals and plants.
Among the invited experts:
- Alexander Markov is a Russian biologist, paleontologist and popularizer of science.
- Nikolai Drozdov is a zoologist, doctor of biological sciences and host of the TV show “In the Animal World”.
- Tatyana Chernigovskaya is a doctor of biological and philological sciences, a specialist in neuroscience and psycholinguistics.
- Olga Svarnik is a candidate of psychological sciences and head of the department at the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis.
- Alexander Abolits is a PhD in Biology, publisher and editor-in-chief of the journal In the World of Animals.
- Evgenia Timonova is a science journalist, author and host of the popular blog Everything Like Animals.
Several performances are planned for the next two months. One of them, dedicated to man and the animal world, will be held on April 25, and the other, on the topic of Darwinism, on May 25. The date of the third lecture will appear on the official website lecture hall.
