In Google Calendar also has its own laboratory, and now you can play your favorite you opportunities you want. Some of them, probably, eventually become the standard functions of the system.
Now you can change the background image. Not that I myself thought it was a necessary thing, but still it can add variety to the routine.
Attaching files from Google Docs. Now you can "attach" an event of any document, spreadsheet or presentation. Documents, of course, should be published. This is a very useful feature if you're using Google Calendar to work together.
world clock. Are you familiar with a similar function in mobile phones, nothing much can be said here. This can be useful if you work with people from different regions.
Go to date. By putting a check here, you get easy access to any date of your choice.
Next meeting. Interesting timer showing the time remaining until the next event on your calendar.
Free or busy? Once enabled, you can see when your contacts are available and when busy. Of course, they have to share with you my calendar.
