Interface illustrations with more useful iOS style widgets.
A week earlier became knownthat Apple is preparing a massive redesign of watchOS 10. Insider Mark Gurman noted that we are waiting for noticeable changes in the user interface, but did not provide details. Designer Parker Ortolani showed an idea of what it might look like.
This concept focuses on two important changes: a redesigned home screen and more useful and interactive widgets.
The main screen has turned from a rectangular one into a long ribbon with widgets, extensions and icons for quick access to applications. You can scroll through it using the Digital Crown.
Widgets themselves have also changed: for example, "Weather" is more like an iOS version than a standard extension for watchOS.
Ortolani also notes the ability to reprogram the side button - for example, to open the contact list. For navigating through screens and switching between applications, the Digital Crown will remain.
It is important to note that these images are not based on specific information from insiders - they are simply a design vision of how watchOS can be redesigned. The final version will almost certainly be different. We will find out soon: watchOS 10 should be presented at WWDC 2023, which
