In Russia, they began to introduce a system that excludes the delay from the sale. The experiment, which will last until August 1, involves certain types of dairy products, including children's, bottled drinking and mineral water, beer and some low-alcohol drinks, smoking and snuff tobacco, hookah tobacco, tobacco-free hookah smoking mixtures and electronic cigarettes. How writes TASS, now all these goods will be tracked by means of marking.

If the experiment is successful, then it will be implemented on an ongoing basis. Then expired and counterfeit goods will be blocked by cash registers. That is, even if they are on the counter, you still won’t be able to buy them.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under Rospotrebnadzor, the head of the organization for the protection of consumer rights "Public Consumer Initiative" by Oleg Pavlov, the sale of spoiled products is annually included in the top 3 violations in trade networks. Often this happens due to the human factor: they simply do not have time to remove the delay from the shelves and it ends up in the baskets

The Magnit trading network has already joined the new system. So far, only expired dairy products will be blocked at the checkouts of its stores. As noted, the experiment is conducted on a voluntary basis.
