How to get a compulsory health insurance policy in electronic form

You can issue a document through the "Gosuslugi". For this you need to have verified account.

If you already have an OMS policy

Go to "public services” and select the “Documents” tab in the menu, then “Health” on the left. On the page that opens, in the upper part there will be a plate "Get data about your compulsory medical insurance policy ..." and the "Request" button. Click on it and wait. They promise to send the result in a period of 15 minutes to - with a high load of the service - five days.

If the policy is not found automatically, its data will have to be entered manually.

If you do not have an OMS policy

If you have not previously issued this document, you can do this immediately through the "Gosuslugi". Moreover, you can get a policy for yourself and for a child, the instructions are the same.

Select the "Health" tab on the top panel, then "Management" on the left compulsory medical insurance policy». On the page that opens, click "Start".

Choose to whom you issue a policy - yourself or a child.

Then you will need to fill out a form and send a request. They promise to form an electronic policy within a day.

What else can be done with the policy through "Gosuslugi"

Thanks to innovations, it is now possible not only to receive a document remotely. Other options are available:

• suspend the policy;
• renew the policy;
• change the region of insurance;
• change insurance company.
