Microsoft will stop sales and downloads of Windows 10 at the end of January

But support for the system will continue for now.
Windows 10 was released in 2015 and is still available for download on the official Microsoft website. But this will change very soon: the company said that sales and downloads of this version will be available only until January 31 (inclusive).
This means that from February, Microsoft will only sell Windows 11. However, third-party vendors will continue to offer licenses after January 31, which will give a little more time to those who want to build a new computer on Windows 10. But you still have to hurry, because these licenses will end sooner or later.
For existing users of Windows 10, the end of sales will not affect anything. Support for Windows 10 will continue until 2025.
So far, Windows 10 remains the most popular version of Microsoft's desktop OS, although two years have passed since the release of Windows 11. Stopping the sale of the old version should push users to choose the new one - and, probably, the share of Windows 11 will begin to grow at a faster pace.
