No, it's not just you: iPhone users complain about Weather crashes
Miscellaneous / / April 05, 2023
Apple is already aware and is preparing an iOS update.
For several weeks now, posts have been appearing on social networks and on the Apple forums about problems with the Weather application. For some, the forecast in the widget does not pull up, for some, nothing even works in the application. Lifehacker was able to confirm this problem on several smartphones.
Symptoms manifest themselves in different ways: the iPhone either cannot pull up the weather by geolocation, or even refuses to display data for all saved locations, although the Internet connection is in order.
Failures for individual users are accompanied by massive problems that can be periodically seen in status tracker Apple services.
This appears to be a server-side issue, although iOS issues should not be ruled out. Although Apple has only recently released iOS 16.4, the next update may not be far off. Some users after update had to re-enter all passwords for Wi-Fi, and, according to rumors, Apple is already preparing an iOS 16.4.1 patch. There is a chance that Pogoda will also be repaired with it.
