Xiaomi has released a top smart watch Watch S2 and headphones Buds 4, similar to AirPods 3

Xiaomi at the last presentation along with new ones flagships released two cool accessories. We will tell you the main thing about each new product.

Xiaomi Watch S2

The watch received a metal case and is available in two sizes - 42 and 46 mm with screens of 1.34″ and 1.47″. The resolution in both versions is 466 × 466 pixels. An AMOLED-matrix with a brightness of up to 600 nits and support for Always-on mode is used.

Watch S2 supports more than 100 sports modes and the function of measuring body composition using a bioimpedance sensor. The latter allows you to find out in a few seconds the percentage of fat and muscle tissue in the body, the metabolic rate, and so on.

Heart rate measurement, sleep tracking and blood oxygen measurement are also included. Also from the new features - sending geolocation data in an SOS message at the touch of a single button. For this, there is support for GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS.

The watch runs on MIUI Watch OS, supports third-party apps and calls via Bluetooth - you can talk through the speaker and microphone. The NFC chip allows you to use the gadget to pay with a touch - where possible.

The small version of the watch, 42mm, offers up to 7 days of battery life in balanced mode, up to 5 days under load, and 3 days with AOD. In the 46 mm version, these are 12, 7 and 5 days, respectively.

The price of Xiaomi Watch S2 starts at 999 yuan (≈9,000 rubles).

Xiaomi Buds 4

These headphones are positioned as an optimal addition to the new flagship smartphones, as evidenced by their color scheme. The case has a “space capsule” design, and the headphones themselves received a droplet form factor.

Inside, the Buds 4 has custom graphene magnetic drivers, which, according to the manufacturer, guarantee consistently high sound quality with any genre of music.

To pair with a smartphone, the modern Bluetooth 5.3 protocol is used. Declared support for LHDC 5.0 codec, Hi-Res standard Audio as well as Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with real-time tuning and a new "independent spatial sound".

Provides dust and moisture protection (IP54) for headphones and IPX4 for the case. In terms of autonomy, the manufacturer promises 6 hours of operation without ANC and up to 30 with recharge from the case. 10 minutes of charging provides 2.5 hours of music.

The price of Xiaomi Buds 4 was 699 yuan (≈6,400 rubles).
