Honor introduced the flagship tablet Pad V8 Pro and fitness tracker Band 7

This is the first Honor tablet with a 144Hz screen.
At the presentation in China, Honor showed a couple of cool new products - a top-end tablet with an emphasis on sound and display, as well as an updated budget fitness bracelet with a large AMOLED screen. Here's what you need to know about these devices.
Honor Pad V8 Pro
The tablet received a 12.1-inch 10-bit LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, 100% color coverage DCI-P3 space, 600 nits peak brightness and 144Hz refresh rate, a first for this tablet manufacturer.
The screen also supports IMAX Enhanced content. Previously, this feature was only available on TVs, but is gradually coming to mobile devices. Responsible for the sound system of eight speakers with support for surround sound DTS: X.
The heart of the gadget was the flagship Dimensity 8100 processor, supplemented by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory in the top configuration. Cameras, as is often the case with tablets, are average: 13 megapixels at the back and 5 megapixels at the front.
Responsible for performance is a 10,050mAh battery that supports 35W fast wired charging. Out of the box, the tablet runs on Android 12 with the Magic UI 7.0 shell.
Honor Pad V8 Pro will be available in grey, blue and orange colors, with the latter being covered with faux leather on the back. The novelty will go on sale in China on December 30. The basic version for 8/128 GB costs 2599 yuan (≈26,200 rubles), the top one for 12/256 GB costs 3299 yuan (≈33,300 rubles). There is also an intermediate model with 8/256 GB for 2899 yuan, or about 29,300 rubles.
Honor Band 7
The new generation of fitness bracelet from Huawei is equipped with a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with a curved protective glass.
There are standard features like heart rate and blood oxygen saturation monitoring, as well as sleep monitoring. 96 sports modes are supported, including swimming: the case received moisture protection up to 5 ATM.
It also supports standard functions such as finding a smartphone, controlling music playback and the camera. An NFC chip is present, but it only works with the Chinese Alipay payment system.
The manufacturer promises up to 14 days of standard use and up to 10 days of active use. Support for fast charging is declared, but its power and charging speed from 0 to 100% are not reported.
In China, Honor Band 7 will go on sale on January 6 at a price of 249 yuan (≈2,500 rubles). The release of the international version has not yet been announced.
