CD Projekt RED reveals next-gen version of The Witcher 3

CD Projekt RED held a livestream to officially unveil the enhanced version of The Witcher 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The update will be free for all owners of the original game and will be released on December 14, 2022.

What's new

• Improved texture quality for most objects, including vegetation and buildings. Completely new graphical effects have been added to complement the visual style familiar to players.
• Added Quality and Performance graphics modes on consoles with higher detail, support for ray tracing, SSR reflections, and FSR.
• On the Xbox Series S, the game will be able to run at 60 fps.
• PS5 owners will be able to use the adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller.
• The PC version will include ultra-high graphics settings with enhanced detail, support for ray tracing, and FSR 2.1 / DLSS 3 image scaling technologies.
