Xiaomi launches Book Air 13 ultra-thin laptop and Redmi Pad metal tablet

Xiaomi, as part of a large presentation, presented not only the Redmi Note 12 series of smartphones, but also the Book Air 13 compact laptop with a body thickness of only 12 mm and a weight of 1.2 kg.

The lid hinge allows you to turn the display 360º and use the Book Air 13 as a tablet, including paired with a stylus. Under the screen panel in the left corner is an 8 megapixel video camera. The speakers of the novelty support Dolby Atmos technology.
Versions with a 12th generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of internal memory will appear on sale. The base price is 4999 yuan (≈42,500 rubles).
Another novelty is the inexpensive Redmi Pad tablet with a 7.05 mm thick all-metal case. The device is equipped with a 10.6-inch display with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Responsible for performance is the eight-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, complemented by 4 or 6 GB of RAM. Battery - 8,000 mAh.
The device also received four speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound, 8 megapixel front and rear cameras, support for Bluetooth 5.3 and, of course, pre-installed MIUI Pad 13, adapted for large displays.
It will be possible to buy Redmi Pad at a price of 1099 yuan (≈9,500 rubles). The set can be supplemented with a book cover for 99 yuan (≈900 rubles) to match the color of the tablet case.
